Hockey Cares Recognizes National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - September 30, 2021

September 30th, 2021, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

It is a day to reflect and recognize the tragic history and ongoing impact of residential schools on Canada's Indigenous people and to make sure it is never forgotten.

Hockey Cares would like to acknowledge the Elders who share their experiences while continuing to educate our nation towards Truth and Reconciliation.

Please donate to Hockey Cares, a reconciliation project under True North Aid.

By playing together we learn from each other. Thank you for your support.

Hockey Cares was founded by Sue Heddle in 2017. It is a project of True North Aid, with the mission of connecting youth through a shared love of hockey.
